I had jokingly posted this meme last year in December as we headed into 2022.

Covid never completely went away even though we all acted like it did, while the flu made a big comeback along with new threats like RSV and monkey pox.
There is the war in Ukraine, rapidly rising prices followed by rapidly rising interest rates, followed by rapidly declining financial markets.

Turns out this meme wasn't that far off.
