@markjacob there was a time when he would have resigned in shame.
The last person to do that was Katie Hill. A Democrat. She shouldn’t have resigned from what happened, but she did.
Republicans have NO shame.

@markjacob My hunch is that newly elected Republican Rep. George Santos has no actual core Republican belief, but knew he'd be a nobody in the already diverse Democratic Party so he figured he'd be a Republican. There he'd stand out as a gay Latino. I bet they give him some higher than usual committee assignments than they'd usually give a freshman for this reason.
