When ElMu piped up about the Twitter data hoard I wondered whether their proprietary app stripped the geotagging on the handset before upload or got stripped at their servers - in which case did they keep copies of the original, or stash details from the originals? Not hard to imagine the leverage an improper actor could now wield: X tweeted from location Y at time Z etc. Roll forward a few weeks and the hardcore hypocrisy of him moaning that his jet was being tracked.
