We found out what really happened in the stalking incident Elon Musk cited to ban @elonjet and a bunch of journalists. Musk blamed a Twitter account for an alleged stalker. Police see no link.

One might think that Elon's arbitrary banning of their journalists and attempts to dictate their news might warrant some sort of response?

@Scotter @drewharwell @elonjet @taylorlorenz Exactly. Twitter was great and all, but when it came down to feeding my news/politics addiction or allowing myself to be owned and monetized by an apartheid trust fund baby it wasn't really that difficult a choice.
