Essay writing is about clarity of thought. You achieve clarity of thought by using fewer words, not by generating more.
@fchollet agreed although sometimes it helps kickstart the process by generating *something* we can start iteratively improving upon
@Fabio IMO you'd get better results for this use case by googling your keywords and reading random paragraphs from the first few articles that show up
@fchollet when it works well, ChatGPT is a way to avoid having to read those initial random paragraphs you speak of and amalgamate them into coherent text ourselves
@Fabio @fchollet it can work well if you just read the outputs for additional inspiration when planning what to write. Some sources when planning to write: Books and papers; testing idea on conversations with colleagues; googling related work; prompting LLM/GPT for extra talking points.
