Aida Rostami was a doctor who treated protesters until she was tortured and murdered by Iranian officials.

Dec 12, after taking care of several wounded protesters in Ekbatan, Aida left a protester’s house to get medical supplies and was never seen alive again. Officials told her family to pick up her tortured body a day later. Just like that.

She was 36.

This is the face of theocracy. We must all fight to keep religion out of our respective governments. Or else.

I'm surprised American women aren't showing tremendous solidarity for Iranian women. I understand we've had a lot on our plate, and we reach a saturation point; but this is a big deal.

Iranian women deserve our support...if only on social media, and by telling our elected officials we support them.

@RadicalWoman111 @flexghost As a woman I support women’s movements across all countries and religions . As an American I can say that the #iranianwomensmovement doesn’t get much air time on news channels throughout the country like it should.

Exactly!

I reckon major newspaper editors and cable news station producers think following the EPIC Iranian protests and the bloody backlash from Khamenei's regime isn't a good look.

Wouldn't want to offend their racist conservative advertisers.
