We need structural solutions to this problem but we also need people to stop ordering delivery so much. https://www.bostonglobe.com/2022/12/18/business/food-delivery-drivers-are-clogging-city-streets-can-boston-fix-problem/
Food delivery drivers are clogging city streets. Can Boston fix the problem?

Over the last several months, the City of Boston has been taking steps to mitigate the congestion, replacing street parking meters with 5- and 10-minute food pickup zones. But it's not enough, says Boston's chief of streets.

@onekade I don't think delivery itself is the main issue, it's how we have delivery. Services like "Gitir" are proving that electric bikes or vehicles with smaller footprints (environmentally and literally) can be a feasible alternative
@Imtaufiq sure yes deliveries by bike would be amazing. But until we can get all these drivers on bikes people need to stop being so damn lazy and ordering delivery so frequently. Obviously some people need delivery but most don’t.
