Absolutely mind blowing how nakedly desperate you have to be to make your social media platform the only one that flat out bans users for posting links to other social media platforms or linktree. It telegraphs 1) that you are losing so many users that you're in really serious trouble and 2) you're too arrogant and ignorant to realize that this policy, if enacted, is going to just obliterate the tattered user base you have left
I have to say that this is astonishing to me even though my expectation with the acquisition was that the company would be in ruins. But I thought it would take maybe 6 months to a year, not two months
The banning of accounts who post links to off-Twitter accounts really does show what utter clownery it is to "stay and fight on Twitter" when all the rules and access to the site itself are governed by someone who has no respect for his user base at all. Good luck tweeting some sense at that, folks.
