This isn’t said often enough: Vladimir Putin is a murderous thug whose genocidal war against Ukrainians should lead to his prosecution and conviction for war crimes. That this will not happen anytime soon and likely ever is intolerable.
@StevenBeschloss And so many people are complicit in this atrocity. The soldiers who are "just following orders." The everyday citizens of Russia who allegedly support this regime in large numbers, but could just grind the whole society to a halt with coordinated opposition. The police who arrest and disappear all protestors. The corruption at every level of Russian society where bribery is the biggest industry. The whole thing is revolting.
@StevenBeschloss and I want the world to declare that we will not deal with a Russia with a president Putin ever again.
@StevenBeschloss Kind of hoping there’s a Russian general planning an Operation Valkyrie.

@StevenBeschloss

It’s so endlessly frustrating watching him commit mass murder with complete impunity.

@StevenBeschloss I think Bush and Cheney will walk too. Sad.
@RuchardXBrooks @StevenBeschloss I think we should keep focus on the real deal here: War criminal Puin ! he is killing civilians DAY AND NIGHT as we speak.
@StevenBeschloss - edit: I think that last sentence is unnecessary; it sets the wrong expectation (and I hope setting a bad expectation wasn’t intended)
@StevenBeschloss he’s backed by too many thugs and too many cowards.
@StevenBeschloss The surrender of Putin and all his collaborators should be a precondition to peace talks, and a precondition to removing sanctions.
@StevenBeschloss I’m afraid that the incoming GOP House will try to end our help for Ukraine. Your thoughts?
@janeharris @StevenBeschloss One congressman had spoken on this subject on a prior occasion, but I believe there is a great deal of support in the Republican party to support the Ukrainian people's rights to live free in their own country. The cost is substantial but the cause is worth it.
@StevenBeschloss Im sure he is destened to fall out of a very high window,the sooner the BETTER
@StevenBeschloss
History tells us that the truth cannot be suppressed. He will reap what he has sown, and the solution will come from within his own government !!
@StevenBeschloss Why can’t the free world just grab Kaliningrad & trade it for Putin leaving Ukraine?
@NacerimaToidi @StevenBeschloss Two wrongs don't make it right, but I see your point 😂😂
@StevenBeschloss @StevenBeschloss Fun fact. I tried to share this post to my Twitter but they wouldn't let me because it could be "harmful", or maybe offensive to some people.
@Dittoshadow @StevenBeschloss They don't like the competition from a competing platform. I closed my Twitter account because I do not approve of Musk's recent decisions.
@StevenBeschloss Karma has it's own timeline.
@StevenBeschloss he is likely going to die of cancer soon
@StevenBeschloss the world would tolerate and trade with North Korea if it had wealth to be exploited.
@StevenBeschloss Also infuriating is that Russia still has a seat on the UN Security Council. Kicking them off would send a very clear message to Russian's that Putin has made their country irrelevant on the global stage.
@StevenBeschloss men play at war, women chop off the head of the snake. who should be in charge?
@StevenBeschloss This won’t end well for Putin. He’s cornered now and he knows it.
