“Violent language never stops at violent language,” says Rabbi Jill Jacobs of the rise in antisemitism. It's often the precursor to physical violence. “This rhetoric has to be countered, has to be denounced wherever it emerges,” says Rabbi Michael Knopf. #velshi http://ow.ly/PLbQ50M6Bjj
@donmelton, @velshi has been here for a while. I haven't kept up with this latest #SpaceKaren story, but have seen hints. I'm not interested in details, but I'd help folks out by following them. Is there a good list of users to follow?

@notes I also follow @velshi but here's a good list of everyone else that I just found with a Web search:

@donmelton @notes @velshi Thanks, I bookmarked this. Very helpful.
@velshi thank you for that deeply meaningful segment this morning, Ali, my family and community feel so supported knowing that journalists like you are doing this kind of work to protect us 🙏
@velshi Of course. Same in any abusive relationship. Abuse doesn't usually stop with just violent language or verbal abuse. It usually escalates.
@velshi our first amendment needs modification and our second amendment needs to be gone. Hard truths.

@velshi

I love your work, Ali Velshi. Thanks for joining us here.

@velshi
The rise in anti-Black rhetoric has been going on much longer. The rise in anti-LGBT rhetoric has been going on much longer.

We've reached the point where anti-Jewish and anti-Asian rhetoric is ramping up because not enough of us spoke up when people were deliberately making things worse for African-Americans and the LGBT community. (I'm half Japanese.)
