As an example; A very bright super successful entrepreneur with fears (warranted or not) that he is in harms way due to his notoriety, buys a notorious media powerhouse that guarantees greatly increased public exposure then acts out in ways that increase his exposure and risk. This sounds like self sabotage that allows for projection of his personal risk on the public he invites in. Go figure…
