I know this looks like a messy muddle of a thing but i am very happy with it. Been growing some #ceropegia for years - woodii is easy, and sandersonii grows (mostly) but I’ve never got it to flower.
My #sandersonii and #monteroie used to get root and stem root, and I always seemed to struggle to get the substrate right!

@plants A few months ago, I attempted to set some cuttings up in a semi hydro set up and have been feeding them using the semi hydro fertiliser. For whatever reason, these cuttings some to love it. They’re healthy and having grown strong roots and are putting out shoots.
Admittedly, they could be in a nicer pot; they’re currently in a basic pesto jar so I’ll charge that eventually! #ceropegia #houseplants

Besides C. linearis ssp woodsii, I grow two caudiciform Ceropegias: C. buchananii (syn. Brachystelma buchananii) and C. papillata.

I previously grew C. haygarthii which is, hands down, my favorite non-caudex Ceropegia. I'd love to get my hands on a few cuttings again.

All of the Ceropegias I've ever grown were in passive hydro (either leca or pon).

@ajdunevent @plants i love this, thank for this info! I’ve never tried the caudiform types before but i really should. I’ve also never tried haygarthii; I hope you get your hands on one!
@plants @ajdunevent I can see myself getting more and more info semi hydro as the plants I currently have in those set ups are really liking it! I think I need to start experimenting a bit more with cuttings and acquiring more materials and receptacles to use. And maybe a good book about it
