I've been slowly shifting over most of the general commentary I do from Twitter to here in the past few days (especially), and it's definitely been a better place to interact with others. Plus, it's not run by an erratic right-wing billionaire who implements new rules on a whim.
I'm just going to keep defying Twitter rules I find to be dumb until they suspend me, tbh. But for the most part, I think Mastodon is my primary platform of choice for text-based stuff at the moment.
@parkermolloy the one thing really missing from Mastodon is a proper search feature, especially for sports stuff. On twitter you can search the name of a player or a team and have instant up to the second conversation and coverage.
