I was sent this e-bike to “review” and you can bet I’m going to give it the FullJoel. However, I’d like to print some things for it for the review - I have GoPro mounts and a donut holder from the bird site - does anyone here have any ideas?
@joeltelling How about printing a simple 3DPN bicycle license plate with a seat or post mount? Should be pretty easy to create with simple color changes to really make it pop.
@joeltelling ...that's about the only way I'd be able to ride a bike anymore. Let machines do the pedaling.
@joeltelling Just wondering the logic behind a 3d printing channel being asked to review a bike?? :)
@locqust heh. Me too. I mean, it’s tech? I said “it’s a 3D printing channel, I am going to 3D print things for it” and they said “cool!”
@joeltelling I can see it now, you review the bike and then they announce that they're going into the printing business and built a bed slinger printer for you to review too!
@joeltelling
You need a tool holder. Either a set of bike tools, or printer tools, your choice.
@joeltelling from the box picture, it needs fenders!
@joeltelling …with integrated LED lighting illuminating the way, turn signals, etc.
@clothbot It has an LED lamp in front, and a rear facing one as well, but no turn signals. that's a fun idea!
@clothbot UGH RIGHT? The box picture doesn't exactly show what's IN the box. Believe me, that's getting mentioned.

@joeltelling since I disabled the bird cross posting, I'll relay the crux of my suggestions here:

- turn signals
- mask out of tpu with the fuzzy skin setting enabled and the fancy built-in wires for heating you showed in your formnext video
- same thing but for the bike handles
- windshield mount?
- phone holder for using the GPS on it?

Extra thoughts:
- Rearview mirror(s)
- Customized wheel spoke inserts?
