Just going to chime in to say how much I love this space. Mastodon / the Fediverse feels like the weird early days of the internet, before it all got corporatized, and was made of mostly of nerdy first-adopters and outliers exploring ways to build the future. It's like we're finally getting to experience *genuine* social media.
