Just finished a 16hr shift. Handed our patient over to another crew to continue the wait to enter hospital, This is unsafe and unsustainable for both staff and patients. This is why I will be striking on the 21st Dec. The government have blood on their hands.

@shaunlintern taken someone with chest pain to hospital myself as no ambulances available for 5 hours (distressed call handler told us) … I counted 18 ambulances waiting and drs going to assess patients in the back of ambulances - ministers cannot continue to accept pay rises and expenses claims for themselves whilst ignoring pleas for NHS staff salaries of enough to eat and live…
