Seriously tho, they're gonna boot so many accounts, and such a large fraction of them are not going to return, it's gonna put rocket fuel under all the other platforms.

Other than actually pulling the plug on the servers, I'm not sure I could come up with a faster way for Twitter to end itself than annihilating the content creators' ability to use that platform and link out to any other sites.

And to do it all in one go! lmaooooo

@qjurecic The original story they probably told each other is that ElonJet is here and that made Elon sad, and also the list of blocked sites is a "makes Elon annoyed" list too.

Mastodon, Post = reminder that they're forcing people to leave and can't control it
Facebook, Instagram = Zuckerberg grudge
Truth Social = Trump didn't come back
Nostr = annoyed at Jack

etc

(note, not on that list: Telegram, Gab, Parler, WeChat, TikTok, YouTube)

@qjurecic @Pwnallthethings Yeah but if you don't do linktree, everyone just gets a linktree. My first thought when I heard about this was "Oh, I'll make a Linktree" until I found out it was banned too.

Of course, now I just have to put my socials on my own website and link to that, which I *think* is still allowed. For now.
