Tim J@astrogirl The federated feed is everyone on your server, plus everyone they follow, but only the posts which are set to public visibility (the globe icon in the web interface). There's a setting to pause it then manually refresh, so you get snapshots rather than a deluge.

@bjornivarsson @astrogirl I feel it's better for all the feeds—for the slow ones, it makes it a lot easier to keep track of what you've read.
