@gamingonlinux Strongly advise *not* supporting the mastodon.social patreon though (also not *being* on mastodon.sociial, which is blocked by large swathes of the fediverse for poor moderation)
m.s is widely regarded as the just about the worst-moderated instance out there short of actively fascist ones, and Eugen continues to make user-hostile design decisions and ignore community feedback about the design of the software

__mt@gamingonlinux Most servers have 2 patreons, one for server costs, and one little tip jar for the admin.
Most instance admins won't take money for themselves from the server cost patreon, so if you want to support your instance admin, be sure to chip in for them, too!
Jigme Datse@gamingonlinux Good to hear. I'm not sure if Matrix.org is having any needs right now regarding that. I'm not sure what my current support for them is right now either. I *was* supporting them on liberapay, and ... I may have allowed it to lapse.
