Okay, Ottawa-specific question:

What's a good cheap snowblower for a small driveway?

I *hate* shovelling, but I also don't have enough driveway to justify one of those $3k monsters. Plus, I'd prefer something battery-powered if possible.

The problem is that Ottawa snow tends to be wet, so I need something powerful enough to handle that while still being on the low end of things.

Anyone have any good experiences? Or bad experiences?

@suetanvil depending on the length of your driveway, a plug in electric one may be the best option - that’s what my dad uses (it’s from a few years back though)

I may have to hold my nose et. al. but I also really hate having to deal with the cord so if there's a good battery-powered option that isn't stupid expensive, I'd prefer it.

Also, modern batteries are cool!
