@binary I don’t understand these now.

@ChairmanBored The current hour in decimal time at the IERS Reference Meridian. So 7 in the above.

But because it base-ten and given the prime meridianm it also works as a percentage of the day in UTC. So 70% of the day complete.

P.S. If annoying you can filter on [SIG]

@binary ah. Base 10. With you now! I had all sorts of illegal subnets with that LOL.

@ChairmanBored I still have the binary hour (as trees) ones in UTC but now I have these as well. Again, do filter if too much!!!

I have a bit of a thing for decimal time at the moment. I am just weird like that 🤷🏼

So, I have bought a #DecimalWatch as a little bit of self experimentation. I won't say which one yet. You will get a #WristCheck for that when it arrives. If you don't know what a decimal watch is, I wrote up a little post here for anyone sufficiently curious. https://ruario.flounder.online/gemlog/2022-12-15_decimal_watch.gmi P.S. It's approximately a 4 minute read or if you prefer, just under 3 decimal minutes! 😆

@binary I thought you were just mixing it up with a change of icons hahahahahah.
@ChairmanBored No I just have more. Not twice as many because there are less than half as many decimal hours… but more in total, representing two different ways to think of time (Binary Coded Tetravigesimal as Christmas trees and Decimal as Santas). 😉
@ChairmanBored I considered BCD (Binary Coded Decimal) Santas but there is only so much craziness I can put into the world.
