What former countries were incorporated by another country by force and violence in the last century with a “success” of longer than say five or ten years?
@borkdude From the top of my head, Tibet, Manchukuo, and the Chinese warlord states. Russian Civil War also had a whole bunch of breakaway republics that are now part of Russia. The Far Eastern Republic and Tannu-Tuva are kinda interesting cases.
Also South Vietnam. Africa probably has some I don't know.
"Success" is rightly put in quotes, of course.
