Every time we hear/read/watch/talk about inflation/interest rates/ recession, we should remember THIS IS CAPITALISM!

Economics is not a 'natural science'; capitalism's structures/functions/effects are not nature's law- like those elucidated by biology or physics.

It's a social construction wherein our lives/deaths are determined by those who control all of nature's resources for their own short-termed benefit!

We accept the horrors of capitalism as though they are natural/ unavoidable.

We accept the language of capitalism because we've been duped by the power and allure of wealth.

@waldenecovillage Because there is no inflation in socialist or communist countries?
@waldenecovillage Especially in this case. Like it’s mostly driven by corporate profits at least in the US where I live, and if it weren’t for capitalist dogma we could just….cut corporate profits. Don’t get me wrong inflation is a real issue with currencies, but the solution should not be making people poorer to reduce demand.
