Re. #KanyeElonTrump, I believe what they share is a condition called Borderline Personality Disorder. This is a poorly understood condition, often co-morbid with or overlapping with bipolar disorder and schizophrenia. It is difficult to diagnose, almost impossible to treat, and never gets better without enormous effort on the part of the sufferer. But most people with BPD are aware of their condition, and think of it as the quintessence of who they are, and are uninterested in changing.
