3 years ago my neighbour (aged 90 years) invited my young daughters to come round and help decorate the tree. Her husband had passed 2 years prior and she had given up putting up a tree. We're muslim and do not celebrate, but to make her happy we agreed. So now it has become a tradition, she thinks it makes my girls happy, we do it to make her happy.
