@frank_bough I’d argue the people are still there because there’s a plethora of other social media sites but they’re all tiny and mastodon is super unfriendly to a newbie.

LadyUnicornEJG@Craktok @frank_bough I really don't get how this is "super unfriendly" tbh. The community seems friendlier than Twitter was (much less is now), the apps aren't hard to follow (the site might be a little more). The most confusing part seemed to be picking a server.

@jorgen @frank_bough @Craktok @taylorlorenz do they go to truth social, gab, parler, minds, etc. specifically posting to them all? Are they over here actually posting it? They don't all post everywhere, and his site is going to be pretty much that no matter what. He owns it now.
