Incredible! Hudson Mohawke, musician behind the hit sex song Cbat, shows acute entrepreneurial prowess on youtube by both pinning a comment and adding a card linking to another song, Cry Sugar, advertising it as “better for sex”.

Having had a bit of a listen, I would immediately concur.

@robotrecall "The hit sex song." 🤣🤣🤣
@rogerriddle I’m not sure whether to hope or fear that someone who isn’t familiar might look it up by name and be very confused.
@robotrecall Hope for it. Let them either suffer or laugh.
@rogerriddle I just hope Hudson Mohawke is making an income at the end of the day, because as far as I can tell, they’re a legitimate musician just doing their really specific experimental thing, not even trying to create a hit sex song at all! I’m glad they seem to be rolling with it.
@robotrecall Until I read your toot and pulled up the song to get a laugh about it, I didn't realize Hudson Mohawke made Cbat. I knew the song as it was just this weird funny thing. And I knew Hudson Mohawke's name from some other music. Didn't put the two together until just now. When I looked up the song on YouTube and it said his name I was like, is this right? Did he make this?
@rogerriddle He clearly has range!
@robotrecall I was trying to remember how I originally ran across Hudson Mohawke so I was going back through his music. I used to DJ quite a bit and there was a point where I was really into this odd cat named Olivier Daysoul (later Olivier St Louis). Daysoul and Mohawke worked together. It's unique, but not as weird as Cbat.

@rogerriddle Oh this is delightful! Odd, but in a completely different direction.
