Tim Sumo
So what does everyone want out of Tim Sumo on Mastodon at this point. I’ve realised I can’t be bothered putting the awards up everyday but I’m more than happy to chat about stuff. And the longer character limit means I can post a fair bit of text.
- Banzuke is nearly here. I’ve suggested 4 Sekiwake and 4 Komusubi cos of our Sanyaku joi logjam.
- Takakeisho has started a sort of Yokozuna run, Hoshoryu and Takayasu on weak to moderate Ozeki runs. Will we get a lot of new promotions next year to those 2 ranks?
- Which or the great prospects in Juryo will make a big impact in Makuuchi next year? Atamifuji failed once but will be back, then we’ve got Hokuseiho, Oshoma, Kinbozan, Tochimusashi, Kitanowaka and a few others.

@Tim_Sumo I’m pretty excited about anothere Keisho Yokozuna run, but I’m afraid he’ll choke again like last time

@doedieszot last time he came in too heavy and hurt his ankle. I don’t think he’s ever choked. When his Ozeki has been on the line he’s always performed. Let’s see if he’s learned from last time and comes in and does his brand that got him this far.

@Tim_Sumo it will be interesting to see if much of sumo Twitter moves over here. There are a lot of platforms now and that might be a good thing.

@tachiai for now I’m assuming that Twitter will just keep grinding on and not die so everyone will mostly stay there. Main reason I got an account is in case Twitter just ceases to exist overnight people will know where to find me
