six rafters
four ties a rafter to hold it in place
but i get two ties back after
have 11 ties & one rafter hung
counting i can do all of them
if i find another tie / rob the mushroom bag
roof geometry is fun, like a 3d jigsaw puzzle, measuring things is tricky cos I'm reading the angles wrong
resorted to school certificate methodology ie draw it, measure it, cut it, repeat until things square up, then backport numbers from there
life is one long school certificate maths exam
there's very likely an NZ Maths resource on this i could have looked at

I'm lining the garage to shore up the WFH battlements for next winter.
