@sarahposner As Tyler told lawmakers, “Christian nationalism uses the language, symbols and imagery of Christianity — in fact, it may look and sound like Christianity to the casual observer.”

I suspect it looks and sounds a whole like like Christianity to a bunch of non-casual observers, such as those who grew up in Evangelical Christian traditions.

Ginni Thomas used the same phrase Mark Meadows used - “spiritual warfare” - back in 1991 when she talked about how she and Clarence dealt with the Anita Hill controversy.

“It was spiritual warfare... good vs. evil. We shut the kitchen blinds and turned on Christian praise music to survive the worst days."
