Ive been on #Twitter for 2 yrs now. I’d explore the #lgbtq #lgbt and #gay tags over there and find 90% spam. And even worse, you’d also find a ridiculous amount of homophobes and transphobes trolling under those tags too.

But on Mastodon, I’ve only found positivity. There are REAL people under these tags who want to have real convos and network with other #queer people. It’s so refreshing. I’ve talked to dozens of queer people in the last 24 hours, and it’s been nothing short of incredible
