@berlinbridge I have yet to see a single post with more than my own likes; is that deliberate? Trying to avoid the social mob mentality that “likes” crest, perhaps?

I think the reblog works to boost the post.
Kind of like Retweet does on twitter.
It looks like there's no equivalent to the twitter "like" here. Favourites looks like a bookmark plainly.

@berlinbridge yeah I find this confusing as well, I wish someone made some UI for mastodon that resembles Twitter more at least in these terms.
