My mastodon link at my pinned tweet on Twitter is now warning anyone who clicks on it that the sight may be “unsafe.”
You know what actually feels unsafe right now? Musk on Twitter.
@georgetakei are you going to ditch Twitter soon? It seems like now is a good time to give it up completely.
@kkeller @georgetakei I have! I've spent a bit of time running various scripts to unfollow, unlike and delete my posts, then locked my account and put a bitly link to mastodon in my bio 🐘

@baroquepawel @kkeller @georgetakei

Using a bitly link is a great idea. Simple, but these people are so lacking in imagination even that goes past their limited ability.

@Franterest26 @FionaDobson @baroquepawel @georgetakei bit.ly is a URL shortener. A side effect is to mask the eventual targer URL, which means Twitter can't block it easily. (They can always retrieve the URL, find the target, and decide what to do. But that's more code, and a ton of those people either left or were fired.)
Space Karen Sucks

Free speech really should be free. To bypass the new censorship regime at twitter, use this URL shortener to link to Mastodon or other censored destinations. Considering recent policy decisions on twitter, please be aware that use of links generated from this site may constitute a violation of their policy.

@Ambigramart now that's useful for a project I have
@bomengidsnl does it have an api to automate stuff?
