We have the NC vote history. Short version - Dem turnout was not good. More detail down thread, but this highlights how much variation there was state to state. Great Dem turnout in some states, pretty bad in others, but generally it was strong in the battlegrounds. Not NC.

@lolgop Having donated to and raised a bunch of donations for Cheri Beasley and gotten everyone in my NC family to do the same., I have to say that her totally skipping Kamala's visit to NC was wildly disappointing and her staff's public communications regarding it were disrespectful. As a donor I wrote to the campaign--hoping they'd reverse course. No response. No change. A degree of self-inflicted damage IMO.

@lolgop her campaign was so meh. Just blah boring bleh. Ppl in NC *can* be coaxed to go vote but it takes energy and enthusiasm, not just competence.
