Good mentoring, with specifically tailored advice about how you're doing, is really helpful for pre-tenure academics. A nagging iinner voice constantly telling you you have to turn up the speed on the treadmill is a very poor substitute for that.
Dr.Susan Bushinski@efarris so very true- the people where I work who are the biggest grant getters have negotiated their contract so they do not even teach- I’m not sure how they get that when we are union contracted for 12 credit hours per semester (Fall & Winter)
