Here are some quick reviews:
1883
Very good TV, obviously a strong writer taking their keyboard for a languid stroll.
Heart wrenching mainly because of my susceptibility to Daddy/Daughter stuff.
Very light on Latinx and black representation.
Very distracting modern dentistry.
The English
Strong spaghetti western vibes. Great performances from all involved.
Takes a very dark and tragic turn with almost Weird West undertones.
Very strongly realised indigenous representation.
None existent POC.
Worth every minute.
Billy the Kid from EPIX
Pretty good lead, if a little tall. Billy as hipster?
Very Canadian in its production.
Some very dodgy accent work.
Again poor black representation.
Leaned into the Mexican connections which is nice.
