Elon Musk’s reckless banning of dissent is dictatorial. His arbitrary and impulsive use of censorship he once claimed was tyrannical shows that his goal isn’t free speech, it’s media manipulation and suppression of those who do not bow down to his unmerited authority.
@tony And hopefully to use it to his economic advantage - either through advertising or favourable gov't treatment of his companies.
@tony today seems like a good day to start calling electeds and push them to kill his SpaceX contracts.
@tony I mean we tried to tell y’all
@tony At the beginning of this, Musk said "Twitter is the public square" while he made his offer to buy it (turn it private)--An internal lie within his own opening statement. So no one should be surprised. This was always about destroying it as a force for good, and turning it into an asset of the fascists.
@tony The plan has always been to disrupt communication in spaces deemed "liberal." Because the only way for the people losing in the Marketplace of ideas to win is to BURN DOWN the Marketplace of ideas.
@tony he’s so used to being hero worshipped that it took him by surprise when his actions at twitter weren’t loved by the people there. Narcissists gonna narcissist
Just about wiped myself out walking down to the community mailboxes. Stay home everyone! That wet snow is greasy AF.
