I wrote this thread after having to listen in a certain Twitter Space to a MAGA guy “just asking questions” about “Ukronazis” ⬇️

Why do we have to listen to this?

Parroting russian lies is not what “free speech” means. https://twitter.com/cryptodrftng/status/1520571720385581057

Alona Shevchenko on Twitter

“After all the indescribable suffering that russia has inflicted on Ukraine, if it's still the "Ukrainian Nazis" that concern you and you're worried about safety of russians who are "not to blame" - you're sick in your head. Ukrainians shouldn't have to listen to this bullshit.”

@toomas_ilves This is how you lose the right.

Every political topic gets bifurcated this way:
1. Gaslight about an issue (denying the presence of any Nazis in Ukraine to offset Russian propaganda about an infestation is fighting lies with lies).
2. Making an issue partizan (like how many leftists virtue signal their support for an issue, and attack as ignorant anyone who opposes them).

That is a two step plan to get any conservative leery of siding with you.
