Mom and I dropped my car off for Auriel to drive back from Moline to Ames, so he can enter quarantine/isolation and ride it out until we know he’s not contagious and/or recovered. He was very cautious on his trip, so fingers crossed that he escapes viral garbage.
Mr Beau was over the moon to see his Bald Man again. Miss Bean was happy as well, but stayed inside Mom’s car. Beau will be keeping Auriel company during quarantine, while Bean is with me in Iowa City until we “have the all clear, no viral plague here.”
Being immunocompromised means taking more precautions and minimizing risk re: all kinds of infections. Anything upper respiratory is bad because Common Variable Immune Deficiency increases the likelihood of bronchiectasis later in life. Gotta protect my airway. 😷🫁💉
@iowacovid19tracker you were in my neck of the woods. Did you stop anywhere to eat when you were in the QCA?

Am I ever with you! I am in stage 4 of copd, and it is no fun. I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy, but good grief, when I look at healthy people that are deniers or even believers, and yet they opt to play russian roulette with their own lives and with mine, I feel not just disappointed, I feel downright angry. They've lost their common sense.
