I always thought it was interesting how unjustifiably masculine the world was. I am not a smart man, but I know my place in the grand scheme of things. I did contribute to life here on earth, but my contribution was infinitely small compared to the hot Betty (or Veronica) that I danced with.

But you overlooked good old-fashioned psychopathy. About 1% of (alleged) humans are pathologically self-centered. Such as the “suck above, kick below” middle-men in bureacracies.
