“"In a string of posts on Friday, Mr. Musk — who, like any proud press baron, keeps a close watch on his platform — cracked jokes, defended his positions, and needled his critics." The Times reporter chose the "what a character!" frame. https://t.co/0EydytlpCX [Free link]”

@drvolts that’s fucked up (especially nyt). It seems no one is up to the task of fighting against this power grab.
@drvolts See, you see a failure, and I just see corporate news entities knowing where their bread is buttered.
@drvolts at the bottom
"Correction: Collins was pulled from NBC's air over Musk coverage earlier this month, not in response to the latest conflict."
@drvolts Yup, kinda shows that NBC was never on the side of anyone but the big multi millionaire & billionaire class, their editorial choices have all bent that way and away from workers
@drvolts We should know by now not to expect a corporate news media that depends on “access journalism” for its bottom line to take strong, principled stands or take on the superwealthy and powerful. I don’t know why I still get disappointed when they regularly wimp out, but I do.
