Found this article on the history: "The Springs became a sacred place, and no horseman was allowed to ride within a mile of the steaming waters. Hey look. In addition to the outdoor hot springs you also get these historic indoor tubs, with the radium waters piped in. People used to flock to the place for the supposed healing powers of the waters. And, while radioactive, it's not THAT radioactive, right? Right???#FridayNightZillow

The place was built in 1931 by Harry Bailey, a friend of Pat Garrett and Billy the Kid. Pretty neat. Not sure what this room is? #FridayNightZillow

Found this cool profile of the owners, a fun couple of realtors from El Paso who have been renovating the place since 2019. When they bought it, it still had remnants of its time as a *women's prison*! “When I bought (the building), it still had the prison doors in each room,” Juan said.
