AngryKruk@stellar I think filters will help here. You probably have to visit your preferences on your instance website (I seem to recall support for editing filters on clients is slim to none).
It appears to work for me— toots appearing lists, federated and local timelines that matched my filter are not shown. I left profiles unchecked intentionally.
