I think locking your account is a great alternative to deleting. I think it would just be cool to see if we can get an immediate dive in use; we are the product, let’s take ourselves off the shelves.

I had the same issue, app wouldn't let me deactivate, but on the web it did. I had a main & a backup, main is still up but locked & unused until the bird app gets new owners or something like that.
