imposter syndrome like "got a glowing review at work but is convinced it's for someone else"
@bigmarinara imposter syndrome like "huh i think i got someone elses bonus paycheque? O.o"
@igna @bigmarinara yup, was told this year that our bonus is based on performance (vs same amt for everyone that we got the past couple years), so not to discuss with colleagues. They clearly don't realize how much time I spend slacking. The other possibility, which is crazy, is that I'm so good I can get more and better work done in less time. But that can't be it.
@katiegail79 @bigmarinara :O don't take this as truth but I'm p sure that's b. s. (tellin u not to chat abt pay w coworkers)
@katiegail79 @bigmarinara can sum savvy n helpful person clarify? re: pay bonus n secrecy
@igna @bigmarinara pay secrecy has been the expectation for as long as I've been working. I'm not sure if that can be legally enforced. But the culture is starting to shift to more transparency.
