I just got a notification that I'm able to purchase the Opal C1 webcam — anyone in my network have/use it and recommend a purchase? The HDMI connection to my SLR broke & not looking to get that repaired/buy new SLR #lazyweb #camera #webcam

@lealea I have it. I really like it.

I hated using my SLR because I kept having to change my settings.

The Opal is good! It gets a tiny bit hot, but they're continually patching it and fixing it.

I would get it. (Happy to answer any Qs)

@pie I’m curious about the subscription rumor. Do I have to subscribe and pay a monthly fee to be able to use the camera?

@lealea The website says the software is "Free for lifetime"

I hadn't heard of the subscription until I searched to be honest. Maybe they'll offer a Pro version for $4/mo?
