I guess it's #FollowFriday or something right? I'm trying to establish some sort of community here so I can shout somewhere besides the void. Not sure what all will be part of my account, but I'll hazard some guesses:

- containerized computer quips
- mycology misadventures
- photography feats
- piano playing
- musical musings
- cute cats
- queer queries

I'm trying to relearn what it is to be a human, so come along with me on this awkward adventure!

@heavenlypins I want to be your friend just for the mycology misadventures. I’ve had a few of those myself.
@watchtheworldb1 mycology is just so freaking cool on its own, but with the recent passing of Prop 122 in Colorado so many more avenues are open for things. Now that I can, I've been cultivating so I can start a micro dosing regimen. Regular trips have already helped my mental health loads, and I've heard amazing things about microdosing

I grew some golden teachers a couple years ago for the same reason, and it really settled a lot of my anxiety down. I’m excited for the medical psilocybin to start over here. Not stoked it’s going to be $1000 a session though. And as far as I know it doesn’t authorize private possession. Baby steps though.

@watchtheworldb1 that's fantastic! And yeah, I didn't think we'd see progress like this so soon, excited to see more studies around it now that it's easier to conduct them

And honestly, growing those mushrooms has made me interested in mycology as a whole. I've been taking lions Mane supplements, looking into growing those, or other mushrooms that I can try to use as a meat substitute, bc I'm really picky about texture and it's hard for me to give up meet. Mushrooms are just so fascinating

@heavenlypins have you seen any of the mycelium fabric stuff?
@watchtheworldb1 no!! That sounds super interesting, mycelium is so fascinating to watch. The OG network engineers
