This “Elon is free to do what he wants on Twitter, and you’re free to move elsewhere” is a very american take.

Elon must comply with European laws and regulations in data protection, anti-trust, anti-discrimination, etc or the EU will seize his property to enforce fines or make Twitter unavailable for EU.

I'm curious what the landscape is in the EU regarding piercing the corporate veil to enforce regulatory compliance. Put another way: I expect twitter to be bankrupt imminently, could the EU regulatory agencies go after the twitter guy's personal assets?

Recalling the speech I got from the corporate lawyer of the last board I was on, the twitter guys is doing an awful lot of things to minimize his separation from the corporate entity of twitter.
