I'm going to post a #Carol a day for (what remains of) #Advent. It only seems appropriate this year to start with something from #Ukraine. This is a song we all know, but usually via the version that was adapted into English 101 years ago. Originally, it's a #Ukranian New Year's carol - 'Schedryk'. And here it is, as accompanied by bandur, the Ukrainian stringed instrument. Happy Advent and Slava Ukraini! 馃巹 馃嚭馃嚘

@mrchrisaddison love this thread. A favourite Christmas song of mine is O Magnum Mysterium. Not a carol but so incredibly beautiful.
