Looks like he’s going to back down
@HelenKennedy When the accounts are allowed back, they will be throttled/“shadowbanned”, if not immediately, then soon after.
@HelenKennedy I hope journalists are not willing to go back to this abuse. Twitter is not a reliable site, it's broken.
@HelenKennedy The inconsistencies though. Big data brokers who sell and publish real-time location data (amongst other private data) on citizens, still have live accounts on Twitter (Spokeo, BeenVerified, Axciom, Radaris, etc.).
@HelenKennedy Bring them back now, he was not doxxed, they are his very public critics.
@HelenKennedy If I were a journalist I'd establish accounts on alternate platforms anyway. A lot of damage has already occurred, and contrary to Susan Collins, he hasn't learned his lesson.
@HelenKennedy If journalists are being suspended, the only reason for me to go there is commuting info. #BinFire
@HelenKennedy Elon thinks a seven day suspension will give people time to think about what they've done, but it really just gives them time to think about what he's done (and write a few stories)
@QuietPartQuiet I think it’s more like “I banned them on a capricious whim and now I have to walk it back so I’ll say it was temporary.”
@HelenKennedy that makes sense - I guess I was thinking more of the length of time (today vs seven days) rather than the lifting of the suspensions themselves
@HelenKennedy Bag idea to go back to an abuser. He showed everyone who he is, he is not to be trusted.
